Hello blog friends! I’m going to be sharing today from my friend, Cathryn’s, blog. She had asked me to write a guest post about a week or so ago and I’ve been such a
slackerprocrastinator! I loved the idea of writing her a guest blog entry so much, that I thought I’d ask for the same favour from her. Well, you can see that she got back to me with hers, and I was able to publish it…meanwhile I was seriously lagging behind with the entry for her blog 😦 . Thank goodness she is as understanding as she is lovely (no, I’m not trying to suck up, I’m just being HONEST!) 🙂
I have been thinking a lot lately about organizing. I often try to live simply…I long to be a minimalist. However, I know that it’s not going to happen for me, as I have too much stuff. I love to shop, decorate, etc… TOO much. I also enjoy finding other uses for objects and repurposing things, so I often hold on to random
crapstuff in hopes of one day finding a need for it, and allowing it TO FUFILL ITS PURPOSE in life as an object. Ok, that may be a slight exaggeration. No, I’m not a hoarder. Yeah, I have problems 🙂 .
I mentioned how we decorated for Christmas, and so seeing as how we are living in military housing on a base, it’s a bit more…snug. And New Years will be following shortly thereafter, and that is often when people tend to be scrambling to purge and clean. They make those New Years resolutions to be more organized, and have all these good intentions. You know the ones :). Well, I’m here to tell you that you can clear your clutter TODAY! You can cleverly corral your crap and get organized!! I feel better just TALKING ABOUT IT. Honestly, I find I think more clearly when there isn’t stuff everywhere. Do you feel the same, or is it just me (type A personality)?! …
This is just a little excerpt from the post. To read the whole entry, be sure to check out my friend, Cathryn’s blog.
